New year

Chinatown should be on your list of places to visit approaching and during the Lunar New Year, February 13-14. Chinatown is on Spring Mountain Road, west of Interstate 15.

It will be the Year of the Tiger, much more appropriate that the Year of the Rat, which the tiger replaces.

The Venetian and Palazzo will feature dragon and lion dances on the holidays and are in the process of decorating their facilities for the event.
