Banning to provide free security for concerts
The Banning City Council Tuesday night agreed to provide the Playhouse Bowl Evenings in the Park concert series with two police officers for security purposes. There will be no charge, as requested by the non-profit Banning Playhouse Bowl Association. The council directed staff to first check with Beaumont to see if any officers there wanted to volunteer their services.
