Glen Avon park hosting free summer concerts Thursday nights

The Jurupa Valley Summer Concert Series will continue at 7 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 5 at Glen Avon Heritage Park.

Soul of the River, which was voted best classic rock band at the 2009 Inland Empire Music Awards, is set to perform this Thursday.

There will be no concert July 22. On July 29, the West Coast Rock School will perform, and a gospel-inspirational music night is set for Aug. 5.

The concerts are free. People can bring picnic baskets and blankets, but no alcohol or pets are allowed.

Glen Avon Heritage Park is at 7701 Mission Blvd.
